This year, numerous official side events in connection with the ministerial meetings and energy related activities took place in the Greater Copenhagen region during the “Nordic Clean Energy Week, 2018”, co-hosted by Sweden and Denmark. During the week, politicians, researchers, business and industry gathered to discuss future energy solutions towards a clean energy transition. Representatives of the region’s most innovative, dynamic and cutting-edge technology and research organizations shared the latest cleantech and clean energy news with the broad audience.

Prof. Johansson was involved in the conference “Challenge driven research for Cost and Resource efficient batteries”, which covered discussions of battery research for vehicles and stationary applications as well as battery recycling. International experts gave their view on the future of cost and resource efficient batteries. Prof. Johansson chaired the panel discussion “Battery specs 2045?” afterwards.
