CARBAT leaders at the Sustainable Energy Symposium in Göteborg

Prof. Patrik Johansson and Prof. Mª Rosa Palacín, two of the leaders of the CARBAT project, have attended the Sustainable Energy Symposium as invited speakers. The symposium was held at the Chalmers Conference Centre in Göteborg (Sweden) on December 6-8, 2017.

The conference topic was sustainable energy, and its aim was to gather leading scientists, policy makers and the interested public in discussions about future energy possibilities. The three-day program included presentations and discussions about novel solar, storage, battery and sustainability technologies. The program on Dec 6th, with invited talks and poster session, was targeted at scientists and university students, whereas the sessions on Dec 7th and 8th, with plenary talks and panel discussion, were also open to the general public.

Prof. Johansson, from Chalmers University of Technology gave a talk on "Next Generation Batteries - Why and How?". On the other hand, Prof. Palacín talked about "Post-Li-ion batteries: promises and challenges".
