Prof. Palacín at the 6th Winton Symposium 2017 in UK

The 6th Annual Winton Symposium was held at the Cavendish Laboratory in Cambridge (UK) on November 9, 2017. The theme of the Symposium was "Energy Storage and Distribution".

The one-day event is an opportunity for students, researchers and industrialists to hear a series of talks given by world leading experts on a pressing global issues. Topics include battery and fuel cell technologies for applications ranging from information and communication technology (ICT) to transport, and advances in distribution through developments of superconducting materials and high power electronics.

CARBAT coordinator, Prof. Mª Rosa Palacín, was an invited speaker of the symposium, and she presented her studies on "Battery energy storage beyond lithium ion", which involve the research that is conducted in the CARBAT project.
