New Postdoctoral researcher in Chalmers

We want to welcome the new member of the CARBAT project: Dr. Rafael Barros Neves de Araújo.

Dr. Rafael Barros Neves de Araújo has recently joined the CARBAT team as a postdoctoral researcher in Chalmers University of Technology. He is working in Prof. Patrik Johansson's group, and his research is focused on employing the basis of the density functional theory (DFT) together with a fluid-phase thermodynamics approach to screen and compute properties of Ca battery electrolytes.

He has done his PhD at the Department of Physics and Astronomy, Uppsala University, which was focused on the investigation of advanced electrode materials by means of quantum mechanical methods. He also has a Master and B.Sc degrees in physics from the Federal University of Bahia, Brazil.

Welcome Rafael!

'CARBAT project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme H2020-FETOPEN-1-2016-2017 (CARBAT, grant agreement No 766617).'
