Dr. Verrelli one of the winners at the WMRIF Early Career Scientist Contest 2018

Dr. Roberta Verrelli from the ICMAB was invited to present her work at the 6th WMRIF Workshop for Early Career Scientists meeting organized by the World Materials Research Institute Forum (WMRIF), held at the National Physical Laboratory in Teddington (UK) on June 18-22, 2018.

The Early Career workshop series concentrates on exceptional early career scientists in WMRIF institutes with the goals of network building, and knowledge and experience exchange, along with the chance to examine facilities of the host institute. In addition, the participants in the workshop can compete for the opportunity for extended visits to WMRIF institutes if selected as one of the top five presenters. Dr. Verrelli was awarded with a 2-week visit to one of the WMRIF institutes for her oral presentation of her research conducted at the ICMAB.

The topic of this year’s event was on "Emerging materials and new processes serving society".
