UCM team at the ESPA 2018 in Spain
Prof. José Tortajada and Arturo Torres Gutiérrez (enrolled in the doctoral program of Universidad Complutense de Madrid through the CARBAT project) participated in the 11th Congress on Electronic Structure: Principles and Applications (ESPA-2018), held in Toledo (Spain) on July 17-19, 2018.
ESPA is a series of international conferences covering all aspects of Theoretical Chemistry, from method development to state-of-the-art applications, across computational molecular science. It also aims to promote young scientists, especially those participating in the master and doctorate programmes in Theoretical Chemistry and Computational Modelling (TCCM)
Arturo presented a poster on “Rechargeable calcium batteries as a potential alternative for lithium-ion batteries: a DFT- screening of cathode materials”.
